Kids seem to have a nose for the
new.They are curious
about what is going on in their commnity, state, nation and world. Using the
newspaper in the classroom is a great way to
encourage people to be well informed individuals.
I have been using the daily paper in my classroom at Glandorf Elementary, Glandorf,Ohio. I call the newspaper "a live textbook." It is a great way to develop reading and language arts skills.It keeps them informed about current events.Newspapers activites can be fun as well as educational.
